my story

Hello, and welcome!
I am Priscilla Cazares
I was born and raised in North Carolina, and have lived in Moore county my whole life.
There is nothing better than being apart of a community, deep roots, and familiar places and people to ground you.

I found my passion for birth work, because of my own birth experiences, one being traumatic and one healing.
Through those journey's, I often felt alone, overwhelmed with the mountain of information and opinions, and feeling as though I had to support myself.
I felt this need for someone that could be there to guide me, to comfort me, to walk me through what I needed.
Someone that could be in MY corner, 100% on MY side, trusting my instincts and body.
Someone to show my partner how to support me in the most vulnerable, precious time in my life.

I knew that I wanted to be that person in other women's life, I felt called to do it.

I am a certified labor and birth Doula, I have had 200+ hours education, 40 hours of hands on labor and birth support training, I am trained in labor and birthing positions, natural pain relief measures,
breastfeeding education (plus 3 years total of exclusively BF my two children)
I am trained in assertive and respectful communication, and to hold non-biased views.
I give evidenced based education with qualified updated research from reputable sources.
I believe that when working in hospital settings as well as home settings that we all work as TEAM, and everyone deserves respect.
I also am certified in Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED by the AHA

I love to serve people in any way I can, there is nothing that I do halfheartedly, and I believe in being 100% authentic.
My goal is to give you the very best of myself as your Doula.
I can't wait to get to know you, and I hope to form lifelong connections.

No matter your walk of life, your beliefs, background, or race, I hold a non judgmental and unbiased care to all mothers.
